Dr. Rob Jeffers
Robert G. Jeffers, MD
Dr.
Jeffers moved to Raleigh from his hometown, Ozark, Ark.
in 1982. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University, summa cum laude, with
a BS in biology and received a Doctorate of Medicine from
Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. Subsequent training
included a rotating internship at Charity Hospital of New
Orleans and a pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army
Medical Center of El Paso, Texas. He also served as an Army Medical Corp Officer in Stuttgart, Germany as well as
receiving a Masters of Public Health from the University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified and a fellow
of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Jeffers is honored with his recognition
in the "Guide to America's Top Peditricicans".
Dr. Jeffers is married to Theresa Walker, a children's
social worker who works in the office. They have three sons: Walker,
Will and Joseph. He is a member of the White Memorial
Presbyterian Church choir has participated in mission trips to
Africa and Haiti. He enjoys fishing, hunting, boating,
reading, music, and also has a fondness for Louisiana cooking.

Dr. Larry Mann
Larry D. Mann, MD
Dr. Mann was born and
raised in Princeton, W.V. He graduated from West Virginia
University ("Go Mountaineers!"), and attended
medical school at Marshall University in Huntington, West
Virginia. Dr Mann completed a pediatric residency and chief
residency at the Ohio State University Children's Hospital.
He is board certified and a Fellow of the American
Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Mann is married to Debbie, a health care consultant who works
in administration in the office. They have four children: Laura, Amie,
Becca and Chase. The family moved to Raleigh in 1987 and Dr. Mann
began practicing pediatrics with Dr. Jeffers. When he is
not working, he enjoys tennis, golf, snowskiing and boating.

Dr. Mike Artman
Michael S. Artman, MD
Dr. Artman was born and
raised in Charlottesville, Va. He received his undergraduate
degree and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of
Virginia. Dr. Artman completed his pediatric residency at
Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He moved to the Raleigh
area in 1996. Before joining Jeffers, Mann and Artman Pediatrics,
he worked at Western Wake/Cornerstone Pediatrics in Cary.
He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy
of Pediatrics.
Dr. Artman is married to Catherine, a former special
education teacher, whose current position in the Artman
household is directing not only Dr. Artman but also their
6 children: Patrick, Matthew, Christopher, Stephen, Elise and Lauren.
Dr. Artman attends Apex United Methodist
Church and enjoys working with the youth. His interests
include exercising, playing tennis, roller-blading
and playing with his children.

Dr. Harold Overcash
Harold P. Overcash, MD
Dr. Overcash was born
in Albemarle, N.C. and graduated from East Carolina University
, magna cum laude. He attended medical school at the University
of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill. Dr. Overcash completed his pediatric residency at the
University of South Florida in Tampa. He is Board Certified
in pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of
Pediatrics.
Dr. Overcash moved to Raleigh in 1982. He was in private
practice for ten years, practiced pediatrics in a U.S. Marine
military facility for eight years and then joined Jeffers and Mann
in October 2000.
Dr. Overcash and his wife, LaDonna, are members of White Memorial
Presybterian Church. They have two sons: Brent and Ryan and a yellow
lab, Saina.
Dr. Overcash enjoys snow skiing, fishing and playing golf.

Dr. Mary Beth Ogle Helton
Mary Beth Ogle Helton, MD
Dr. Helton is a native of the Raleigh/Cary area.
She obtained her bachelors degree in biology/chemistry from Meredith
College in May, 1990, her medical degree from East Carolina School of Medicine
in May, 1994 and completed her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital in
Greenville, NC. She is board certified in pediatrics and a fellow of The American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to joining Jeffers,
Mann and Artman Pediatrics, she worked with a private practice in Durham.
Her special interests include working with adolescents, asthma,
and the issues of first time moms.
Dr. Helton is married to Todd Helton, an internist in Raleigh.
They have two children, Anna Elizabeth and Edward John. She is a member
at White Memorial Presbyterian Church and she enjoys family, gardening, crafts,
and the beach.

Dr.Vicki
Herriot
Vicki M. Herriott, MD
Dr. Herriott was born in Haverford West, Wales.
After growing up in Britain, Holland and the United States,
she now considers Raleigh to be home. Dr. Herriott received
both her undergraduate and medical degrees from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her pediatric
residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville,
Tenn. Dr. Herriott is board certified and a member of the
American Academy of Pediatrics. She enjoys time spent with
family, Bible Study Fellowship, snow skiing, gourmet cooking,
reading, and walking her yellow lab.

Dr. Bridget Degele
Bridget M. Degele, MD
Dr. Degele was born in Malawi Africa and grew up in
Burlington, North Carolina as the oldest girl of nine children.
She graduated summa cum laude from North Caroline State University
with a BS in biochemistry and zoology. She graduated from Duke University
Medical School where she completed her pediatric residency. While in
medical school, Dr. Degele obtained a Master of Public Health from the
University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is board certified and
a member of the American Academy of pediatrics.
Dr. Degele is married to John Degele, a stay-at-home dad for their
two young sons, Andrew and Matthew. They are members of the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church. She enjoys spending time with her family,
gardening, traveling to some of her husband's many Pro-Amateur bicycle
races and playing with their lab Maddie.

Dr. Juli Clark
Juli J. Clark, MD
Dr. Clark was raised in Mount Airy, North Carolina,
otherwise known as "Mayberry," home of Andy Griffith. She received her undergraduate
degree and Doctorate of Medicine from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
She completed her pediatric residency at UNC Children's Hospital. Dr. Clark is board
certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics
Dr. Clark and her family moved to Raleigh in 2004. Her husband Henry is a financial
consultant for Progress Energy. They have two young children, Will and Maggie. The Clarks
are members at Hayes Barton United Methodist Church. Juli enjoys family time, jogging,
hiking, snow skiing and scuba diving.

Dr. Christine Lehrich
T. Christine Lehrich, MD
Dr. Christine Lehrich was born in Vietnam and grew up in
New Jersey. She received her undergraduate from Drew University, a Masters degree in
Medical Science from Boston University and her medical degree from Robert Wood
Johnson Medical School. Dr. Lehrich completed her pediatric residency at UNC
Chapel Hill in 2004. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy
of Pediatrics.
Dr. Lehrich is married to Ruediger Lehrich, M.D., a nephrologist at Duke University.
They have two young daughters, Sarah and Anika. In her free time, Dr. Lehrich enjoys
most of all being a mom. Her other hobbies include golf, cooking, travel and renovating.

Dr. Lori Langdon
Lori Langdon, MD
Dr. Langdon was born in Dunn, NC and grew up between Coats and Benson
on a hog and Tobacco farm! She was driving a tractor at the age of seven! She graduated from
North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 1987 and was a Caldwell Scholar at NC State
where she graduated summa cum laude with a BS in Zoology, premed curriculum in 1991. She
graduated from Duke University School of Medicine in 1995 and completed her internship and
residency training at the University of VA in Charlottesville, VA in 1998. Dr. Langdon is
Board certified in Pediatrics and a former chapter breastfeeding coordinator for the NC Peds
Society.
Dr. Langdon was married to Mark Langdon in 1988. Mark stays home full time and home schools
their four children; Nathan, Anna, Caleb, and Sarah. Their extended family includes a collection
of turtles, caterpillars, lizards, a rabbit and a dog!
Dr. Langdon is very active in her church where she teaches Sunday school, sings on the praise
and worship team, and leads small groups for women's conferences. She is the local coordinator
for the National Day of Prayer. In her free time, Dr. Langdon enjoys cooking for big get
togethers, playing with the children, and scrapbooking.

Dr. Joseph Loibissio
Joseph C. Loibissio, MD
Dr. Loibissio recently moved to Wake Forest, having grown up in
New Jersey, near New York City. He graduated from Montclair State University where he
graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Molecular Biology. Dr. Loibissio is a graduate
of New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York and completed his residency at Golisano
Children's Hospital at the University of Rochester, NY.
Dr. Loibissio enjoys music and likes to spend time playing the piano and singing.
He has recently taken up martial arts and received his green belt in June.

Melissa Dolan, CPNP
Melissa L. Dolan, CPNP
Melissa is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practioner who
was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. She relocated to the Raleigh/Durham
area in 2002, having been employed at Jeffers, Mann & Artman Pediatrics since that time.
After obtaining her Batchelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Rochester in
1994, she worked for five years as a Registered Nurse in a Regional Trauma Center in
Western New York. Her master's degree was received from the State University of New
York at Buffalo in 1999. Prior to joining Jeffers, Mann & Artman Pediatrics, Melissa
worked as a PNP in a large pediatric practice in the Buffalo area where she had a
special interest in asthma teaching and newborn care.
Melissa is married to Kevin, a research scientist who works in RTP and they have a
son, Brendan. Her interests include spending quality time with her family, traveling,
camping, fishing and cooking gourmet dishes.

Kelly J. Werner, CPNP
Kelly J. Werner, CPNP
Kelly, who is originally from Pennsylvania, relocated to the Triangle from West Virginia four years ago.
She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. After obtaining her bachelor's degree in
nursing from West Virginia University in 1998, her experience includes working on a
pediatric unit and employment in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (three years in West Virginia
and four years at WakeMed). While at WakeMed, Kelly was a member of the Children's Transport Team.
Her Master's was received from Duke University in 2004.
Prior to joining Jeffers, Mann & Artman Pediatrics, Kelly worked as PNP in Henderson, NC.
Kelly is married to Christopher Werner, a civil engineer currently working in Raleigh.
They spend free time being outdoors and cheering for their favorite football teams:
WVU Mountaineers and Pittsburgh Steelers!

Chris Barry, PA-C
Chris Barry, PA-C
Mr. Christopher M. Barry was born in New Haven, Connecticut, but spent most of his
childhood in Chapel Hill. He received a B.S. in Zoology from Duke University ("Go Blue Devils!")
in 1992.
Chris graduated with honors from the Emory University Physician Assistant Program in 2000,
where he received a Masters of Medical Science degree and the student writing award for his
thesis project. After graduating from Emory, Chris worked in a pediatrics practice near
Atlanta for over 5 years. He and his family returned to the Triangle area in 2006 to be
closer to family.
Chris is a nationally certified physician assistant. He is a member of the American Academy of
Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, and currently serves as
the Immediate Past-President of the national Society for Physician Assistants in Pediatrics.
He is fluent in Spanish.
Chris lives in Morrisville with his wife, Ashley, a research scientist, his young daughter, Jessica,
and their dog and two cats. In his free time, Chris enjoys photography, playing basketball, and spending
time with his family.
