Robert G. Jeffers, MD

Robert G. Jeffers, MD, Raleigh Pediatrician Dr. Robert G. Jeffers moved to Raleigh from his hometown, Ozark, Ark. in 1982. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University, summa cum laude, with a BS in biology and received a Doctorate of Medicine from Tulane Medical School in New Orleans. Subsequent training included a rotating internship at Charity Hospital of New Orleans and a pediatric residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center of El Paso, Texas. He also served as an Army Medical Corp Officer in Stuttgart, Germany as well as receiving a Masters of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Jeffers is honored with his recognition in the "Guide to America's Top Pediatricians".

Dr. Jeffers is married to Theresa Walker, a children's social worker who works in the office. They have three sons: Walker, Will and Joseph. He is a member of the White Memorial Presbyterian Church choir has participated in mission trips to Africa and Haiti. He enjoys fishing, hunting, boating, reading, music, and also has a fondness for Louisiana cooking
